The Big Bend Region SBDC will present a special seminar, “Small Business Loans and Credit Reports - The Essential Elements”, on Wednesday (March 2) from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in Room 107 of the Centennial School Building in Alpine.
This presentation will be conducted by SBDC Business Advisor Manny Granado. A former banker of 21 years and now a local business owner, Manny will deliver a unique perspective to the process of securing a small business loan and the importance of keeping an eye on your credit report from both the lender’s and entrepreneur’s view.
Topics addressed during this session will include, but are not limited to, preparing a loan application, understanding collateral, understanding fees associated with a loan, questions to ask a lender, understanding loan ratios, the denial process, credit reports, SBA Loan Guaranty Programs and assistance from the Big Bend SBDC.
