Art teacher Betina Kearns and rtist Mary Paloma Diesel, in concert with the students and teachers at Terlingua School, are finishing up a project celebrating sustainable living in our desert community. Thursday afternoon (October 9) the community was invited to get a sneak peak at their dress rehearsal for the 6th Annual Green Scene Parade to be held on October 25 in Terlingua Ghostown. Mary said, “The rehearsal parade at the school was so fun. The school kids did a fantastic job, and even the ones who weren’t in art classes pitched in and helped set up and get ready. I’m amazed at the family oriented way things get done there. Can’t wait for the huge parade!”
