Terlingua Ranch welcomes new general manager

As of September 1, Terlingua Ranch has a new general manager, Vanessa Boyd. In a statement to the Gazette, Boyd describes herself as, “a sixth generation Texan.” Born and raised in Dallas, Boyd received her B.A. from Centenary College in Louisiana. Boyd has lived and traveled around the world and takes an interest in languages, communication and culture. She has managed production schedules, teams, employees, and contractors, and has worked in the private as well as non-profit fields.

Vanessa Boyd came to the Big Bend hortly after college for an internship in adobe with Simone Swann, and stayed on in the area working in the national park and in Terlingua, one of her “favorite places on the planet.” Boyd is excited to be a part of the Property Owners Association of Terlingua Ranch, Inc. (POATRI) “as it continues to grow in its efficacy and service.”
