Brewster County rescinds burn ban
Brewster County Commissioners voted this morning to rescind the burn ban. Emergency Management Officer Matt Van Ostrand issued this statement: “Due to the recent county-wide rain, conditions have improved to the point where the Brewster County Commissioners Court has rescinded the burn ban. While the burn ban is now off, folks are reminded to be careful when burning, and follow the state rules on outdoor burning.”
