Challenger Jamie Escuder won the Primary Election for 83rd District Attorney over incumbent Rod Ponton. Escuder will face-off with Republican Sandra Wilson in the November election.
This morning Ponton offered this statement: “It has been the greatest honor and privilege of my life to serve the good residents of the Big Bend as their 83rd District Attorney. I wish to thank all my friends and supporters. I especially thank the hard working members of the area law enforcement community.”
