Food Pantry of Alpine announces new location and several more distribution days each month
The Food Pantry of Alpine has exciting news: we will begin distributing from 108 1/2 S. Neville Haynes (formerly Lackey) in Alpine (beginning Sat. Feb 6.), and we will now be distributing 5 times each month.
We have distributed flyers to our clients concerning our move but want to make sure everyone knows of this change.
Clients will be eligible to come once a month to any of the following days and times:
Feb. 6 – 9 am – 12 noon (first Saturday of the month)
Feb. 9 – 3-6 pm (2nd Tues)
Feb. 11 – 9 am – 12 noon (2nd Thurs)
Feb. 23 – 3-6 pm (4th Tues)
Feb. 25 – 9 am – 12 noon (4th Thurs)
Our distribution schedule is expanding, but we still need a few more volunteers for our usual Sat. morning 9 am -12 pm distribution.
This expanded schedule improves our service to the community many ways:
*Selection and variety of our commodities will actually improve when we are able to restock several times during the month.
*Little to no wait time and easier parking
*For those without transportation, TRAX is a transportation service available Monday through Friday.
