Itinerant Printer Chris Fritton
Menagerie Press in the Terlingua Ghost Town is hosting Itinerant Printer Chris Fritton. Chris will visit letterpress print shops across America throughout 2015, producing unique prints at each venue culled from their idiosyncratic collections of wood type, metal type, cuts, ornaments, and polymer plates. These prints will be mailed back to followers and supporters of the project as postcards from the road. SO… Come join Menagerie Press for a presentation by Chris, printing demonstrations, and all-round open house. There will be beer, beans and bread on the patio. 4-8 pm, Tuesday, April 7. You are welcome to join in with music, food or just you. The Press is located next to the Santa Ynez Church behind the Starlight. Please no dogs.
