Join us at the Alpine Public Library on Wednesday, Nov. 19 to celebrate International GIS DAY. GIS means “Geographic Information Systems.” See demonstrations of digital mapping techniques and learn how they can be used to solve problems or investigate geospatial patterns. Presenters include members of the Sul Ross Geology department and the Rio Grande Research Center. 10 am til 5 pm. See you there!
