The Alpine City Council will hold a special city council meeting, Tuesday, July 8 at 3:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at 803 West Holland Avenue.

The meeting agenda includes a workshop to discuss wastewater improvements (sewer problems and the solution). The workshop will be accompanied by a brief statement of facts, including where the funds for the project will come from.

Under documents obtained under the Texas Public Information Act, The Gazette has learned the project could cost as much as $7.4 million.

The meeting will include citizen comments with a time limit of three minutes.

The public is encouraged to attend.
