Come join the Music Program in the final concert of the year on May 1 at 7:30 pm in Marshall Auditorium! Admission is free and the concert is open to the public. We would love to see you there!
Performing will be the Sul Ross State University Concert Choir, singing a set of songs including American Folk Songs and Spirituals. Included are two world premier pieces – one by SRSU student Travis Lutz and the other by choral director Donald Callen Freed.
Also performing will be the Sul Ross State University Wind Ensemble. They’ll be performing an exciting set of band works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, a beautiful arrangement of the hymn tune “When Jesus Wept” by William Schuman, and will close the year with an exciting performance if Edward Gregson’s “Festivo.”
