Marfa Public Radio Spring Membership Drive Starts Friday
Editor’s Note: If you’re a listener of KRTS/Marfa Marfa Public Radio: KRTS, please support the station. I feel like since KRTS went on the air/online, the quality of journalism and life in West Texas grew in leaps and bounds.
KRTS Marfa Public Radio, 93.5 FM, begins its Spring Membership Drive on Friday, April 4. The station is publically owned and operated, and relies on fundraisers and membership donations to fund annual operations.
This year has been a busy one at Marfa Public Radio. KRTS Marfa has increased its regional news coverage, added new staff, and made many station improvements. None of this would have been possible without the support of local membership donations and support from local businesses.
For this Spring Drive, KRTS has a retro Marfa Public Radio T-shirt design as a special thank-you gift to donors at the $120 level or above. The Spring Membership Drive runs through Friday, April 11. You can become a member by phone at 800-903-KRTS or at marfapublicradio.org.
Membership donations to Marfa Public Radio - a 501(c)3 organization - are tax deductible. The station will also be featuring special programming all week long in celebration of the drive.
