Senator John Cornyn will visit the region on Monday, April 9.

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) will visit Sul Ross State University where he will hold a private breakfast meeting with local officials and business leaders. The breakfast is not open to the public.

Our April issue failed to mention the breakfast is an invite-only event.

Cornyn will then head to Big Bend National Park where he will meet with officials from the National Park Service and Customs and Border Protection, which is closed to the press and public.

This is Cornyn’s first visit to the Big Bend. No public appearances are scheduled.
