The Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center is holding its Nature Camp for elementary-age children again this summer. The Desert Rat Club meets Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 12 noon, July 13-17, 2009.

Desert Rat Club participants will explore the flora, fauna, and geology of the natural world through nature walks, journaling, careful observation, and experimentation. Emphasis will be placed on encouraging participants to think like a scientist.

This Nature Camp is for children age 7 to 10.
